Looking forward to dancing at the C# house in a few days. I can't believe my friend agreed to my proposal of leaving town around 1pm, getting into London around 5pm, dancing for a few hours, catching the midnight bus and arriving ome around 3.30am! Nice to know my friends are as crazy as I am!

Counting down the days to my BIG adventure! I think I have taken care of everything that needs to be canceled, put on-hold, issued or validated. I keep checking and re-checking my tickets to make sure they match the days on the schedule I've emailed to all concerned. So very excited!

EEA report on Climate Adaptation

Almost all European countries have conducted national climate change vulnerability and risk assessments as part of their adaptation plans to better deal with the impacts of climate-related hazards, according to a European Environmental Agency (EEA) report published on April 24th, 2018. I find it interesting to compare and contrast experiences, knowledge, approaches, and practical solutions.

I was born in the East End of London and had an amazing childhood in Middlesex, UK. I spent a couple of decades as a single parent in Michigan, earned my bachelor's degree in Civil engineering and moved to Florida. The recession took me on a circuitous route from Florida to Kentucky, Northern Michigan, and back to Florida.
